Who we are

What we collect

Email address. Only if you subscribe to updates. We store the address, the date you agreed and the part of the site where you signed up.

Feedback. If you use the feedback form, we store your message, the type of feedback and the page you sent it from. Please do not include names or contact details.

Checklist progress. Your answers and ticks stay in your own browser. They are not sent to us.

Visit statistics. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors.

Why we use it

We use your email address to send the updates you asked for, such as changes to guides and new tools. We use feedback and visit statistics to improve the site. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Who handles it

Service providers host the site, send email and measure visits (Cloudflare, when visit counting is on). They act on our instructions and may process data outside Qatar. We share information with authorities only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, then remove it from our sending list. We keep feedback for as long as it helps us improve the guides.

Your choices

Every email carries an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to us. These rights follow Qatar Law No. 13 of 2016 on personal data privacy.

Cookies

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

Children

The site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We will post changes on this page and update the date above.
